Kendall Jenner fires security guard after jewelry theft

Kendall Jenner gave her security guard the pink slip after $200,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from her home. Jenner, 21, was reportedly hosting a party at her Los Angeles home last week and left the property for about an hour near midnight. When she returned at approximately 1 a.m., police sources claim Jenner noticed a jewelry box in her room was opened and pieces were missing, including a Rolex and a Cartier watch, TMZ reports.

Police sources previously told TMZ that while Jenner initially reported a burglary in the home, there was no sign of forced entry, leading investigators to believe it was an inside job.

The family is said to be furious that an uninvited guest was allowed into the supermodel’s home while she was out — and while her security guard was posted outside of the house. Fortunately for Jenner, there are surveillance cameras in and around the house, which police are hoping will lead to the culprit.
