Iranian Teen ‘undergoes 50 surgeries’ in a bid to look like her idol Angelina Jolie

The 19-year-old from Tehran underwent 50 surgeries in the space of just a few months, according to Belgian website Sud Info.

Once looking like a normal woman, the die-hard fan appears to have gone to town on her nose, cheeks and eyes, while dieting "for months" so dramatically her weight has plummeted to a very unhealthy "40 kilograms", according to website Al Arabiya .

19-year-old Sahar Tabar claims she's had 50 operations in her quest to look like the Maleficent star - however she looks more like the fictional character than the gorgeous Ange, after sharing pictures to Instagram where she has 323k followers.

The softly-spoken teen said she "would do anything" to look like the actress - however her dramatic makeover has raised eyebrows as many speculate as to her authenticity.

No news outlets have been able to confirm the teen's surgeries, which are so dramatic they could in fact have hailed from an expert session of prosthetics or special effect makeup and camera trickery.

There is no denying the social media star looks gaunt and sick in a series of the shots, as she strives to emulate Ange, with comments on her social media calling her a "zombie."

"You look like a dead person," one said.

Another added: "I'm so confused - is this a Halloween costume or filter?"
