Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have broken up, People is reporting, after dating for about 10 months. “She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship,” a source told the outlet. “It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them.”

The distance was tough on the couple, though they are "still in touch" now. “It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months,” the source said. Gomez and Bieber, who she was photographed spending time with yesterday, are not back together either, the source added.

The Weeknd and Gomez have been dating since January. They went Instagram official in April at Coachella.
