While The Queen’s royal schedule is set to continue as normal, it’s
been announced that more royal duties will fall to Prince William,
Prince Harry and Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry
have recently spent a lot of time working on the Heads Together
campaign, which aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
The Princes’s recently gave a candid interview where they spoke about the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. But it seems that The Queen wants the young royals to change their public attitude slightly.
An unverified source told The Sunday Times: "As successful as that campaign [Heads Together] was, it might be that soul-baring isn't what Buckingham Palace is looking for. "The direct impact [of Prince Phillip's retirement] will be that the Cambridges will be expected to step up and undertake more state business and do less of their own campaign work."
They added that the monarch wanted more focus on "representing the nation" instead of "individual royal activity".
