Snoop Dogg Announces Gospel Album

Snoop Dogg is taking it to chuuch. Still sizzling off the release of his new album Neva Left, Tha Doggfather has announced that his 16th album will have a gospel theme. Speaking with Dr. Dre’s “The Pharmacy” program on Beats 1, the hip-hop OG explained why he feels the need to make a gospel album now.

“I’m working on a gospel album,” said Snoop. “It’s always been on my heart. I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business or doing this or doing that. I just felt like it’s been on my heart too long. I need to do it now.”
