The son of the Terminator star looked very different to his father in
the full-length snaps, as he was spotted in LA with his mum Maria
Shriver, 61, and sister Katherine Schwarzenegger, 27, as they stepped
out for lunch.
Sporting a bright blue T-shirt and some white board shorts, the teenager confidently strode down the street in the California sunshine, looking comfortable and collected in the process. Swinging his arms as he marched down the pavement, the rarely-seen Chris looked content as he shopped with his family, who walked behind him as he lead the way. He’s currently a full-time student enrolled at the University of Michigan.
The youngster spent time in intensive care after suffering multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung, following his boogie boarding accident on Malibu in 2011. His mother Maria took to Twitter at the time to share her joy at Christopher’s recovery, tweeting: "Blessed to be able to take Christopher out of the hospital last night. What a feeling of relief to know he's going to be fine."
Arnold also tweeted a message, saying: "I knew Christopher couldn't be stopped! Big thanks to all the doctors, nurses & staff at UCLA that helped him recover."
His parents were constantly by his side during his hospital stay.
