Chrissy Teigen celebrated Easter with close friend Kim Kardashian

The 31-year-old model, husband John Legend and daughter Luna joined Kardashian, her husband, Kanye West, and their children, North and Saint West, for an outdoor brunch Sunday.

"Happy Easter, everyone! Really. Except @realDonaldTrump," Teigen tweeted to her 5 million Twitter followers.

Teigen, Legend and other guests enjoyed an array of sweet and savory foods, including pancakes and fried chicken. The couple gave Kardashian and her family "the cutest" Easter baskets filled with flowers and a chocolate bunny, according to the reality star's Snapchat.

Kardashian's sister Kourtney Kardashian and her three children also attended the fête. Kardashian surprised the kids by hiring a petting zoo, and shared a photo of herself, Teigen and Kourtney holding the animals.

West and Legend also got in on the surprise by dressing up in Easter bunny costumes. The dads came galloping out of the house in fluffy white suits to dole out hugs to all of the children.

Teigen and Kardashian are longtime friends who started a book club together in February. The Sports Illustrated model was among those to defend Kardashian after the star was robbed at gunpoint Oct. 2 in Paris.
