To mark her career, the fashion world came together to honour the Italian fashionista during Milan Fashion Week.
On Monday February 27, Victoria Beckham headed out to the fashion capital of the world to pay her respects to the former Vogue Italia editor-in-chief. Looking downcast, the mum of four opted for a dark navy ensemble for the sad occasion, with a matching leather handbag.
She kept her eyes hidden behind a pair of large dark glasses, and kept her head down as she walked to the ceremony.
After hearing about the death of her good friend, the former pop star took to Instagram to share a tribute to the fashion icon.
Victoria, who worked with Franca on a number of times over the years, shared a snap of the two of them together.
She captioned it: "I had the privilege of spending time with Franca over the years. Not enough time as it now so sadly transpires.
"Whenever I was with her I was mesmerised by her strength of character, her charitable work, her creative vision. "She encouraged me and inspired me whenever we spoke. What a legacy she leaves behind. RIP @francasozzani. x VB."
